The finish on my PM-3 headphones is starting to wear

Modified on Mon, 24 Dec, 2018 at 2:56 PM

After a long and healthy life, the PU leather finish on the OPPO PM-3 can flake or wear away on the ear pads or the headband.

Replacing the ear pads on the PM-3 is a simple process, so long as you approach it with caution. Follow the steps in the video below, and you can have your headphones looking fresh again in a matter of minutes.

You can order replacement PM-3 ear pads (available in both black and white) here.

Unfortunately, the headband of the PM-3 is so integral to the construction of the headphones that it cannot be replaced. This issue is purely cosmetic, though — they'll still sound and feel just as great as they day they were bought.
